This course was developed by Tracey Mollins.

The first version of this course was designed for AlphaRoute. AlpahRoute was an online learning environment for adults and is based in Ontario, Canada. AlphaRoute was conceived as a place where adult literacy students could learn online, improve their computer skills, and keep pace with the technology-driven changes in lifelong learning. Sadly, there has been no funding for courses since September 2008.

This version is one that was updated and redesigned for the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) instructors (CUPE 4400) to use in Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) classrooms as part of the TDSB Blended Learning project. We developed a series of blended learning topics to model the approach for instructors. We visited each class and demonstrated the use of the courses to the instructors and learners and then visited them at the end of the course to evaluate the experience.

This course was developed by Matthias Sturm (CUPE 1582 ) at Alpha Plus. It is a assessment too designed for use by Ontario Literacy Basic Skills programs.

This is a version that was customized by Tracey Mollins with audio-visual supports so that literacy learners could use the tool independently regardless of reading level.
